The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) have updated the “Choosing a Medigap Policy: A Guide to Health Insurance for People with Medicare” guide for 2025. It is the official government guide for individuals 65+ that provides important information about Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) basics, what Medigap policies cover and things to know when buying a Medigap policy.
Important: The Guide to Medicare for People Age 65 and Older is required to be left with Long-Term Care insurance applicants at some point during the sales process.
