Don’t pick on SNFs especially, but more focus on Medicaid fraud and recovering improper payments is long overdue. I’ve watched states, individuals and criminals take advantage of Medicaid for decades with little effort by authorities to identify, much less, correct the problem. So let the pendulum swing back toward investigation and enforcement and let’s see how much can be saved and/or repurposed to better serve those in need.
