GTL Discontinues Sales of Home Care Secure product

Effective April 24, 2026, Guarantee Trust Life (GTL) discontinued new business sales of its Home Care Secure insurance product in the 21 states in which it had been offered: AL, AR, AZ, CO, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MI, MO, MS, NC, NE, OH, OK, SC, TN and TX.

In place of the Home Care Secure product, appointed agents should consider GTL’s more-popular stand-alone Home Health Care plan, Short-Term Home Health Care (“STHHC”). The STHHC product does not require membership with the Aging at Home Association, and offers expanded availability. STHHC is currently available in 35 states, with 3 coverage levels to choose from, and built-in features like Prescription Drug Benefits, cash benefits and innovative support for Family Caregivers!
