If You Want Medicaid to Cover Long-Term Care, Get Ready to Hire a Lawyer,” by Jess Bebel, Morningstar

“When it comes to Medicaid planning, the best thing to do is to contact an elder-law attorney who specializes in Medicaid because there are just too many issues, and there are too many things to try to keep up with, and things change quickly.”

LTC Comment, Stephen A. Moses, President, Center for Long-Term Care Reform:

How ironic! All the problems of finding LTC and paying for it are caused by too many middle class and affluent people having co-opted Medicaid LTC. So, hire an attorney. You too can get aboard. Bankrupt thinking and shiftless journalism. The tragedy is that the poor and disadvantaged have it worst. They can’t afford attorneys and Medicaid was supposed to be for them.
