Last November, our Long-Term Care Claims Department began managing all LTC claims internally — a move that strengthened service for policyholders and partners alike. Now, we’re taking the next step: Mutual of Omaha will begin processing all new and existing MutualCare® Solutions (LTC13 and LTC09M-CA, issued 2013–current) business in-house.
What This Means for You
New Business Applications:
- New Business Applications: Mutual of Omaha will soon begin accepting applications directly. Prior to that date, we will share updated contact information (mailing address, email, fax) as well as updated process information that will help make doing business with us easier.
- Sales, Underwriting & Compensation: Your contacts remain the same — no changes here.
- Policy Transition: After new business processes are moved in-house, all existing MutualCare Solutions policies will transfer from Illumifin to Mutual of Omaha’s dedicated LTC Customer Service team for servicing. Updated contact information will be shared in later communications.
Next Steps
We’ll be sharing complete details soon, including process updates, FAQs, and the official transition date. Policyholders will be notified and provided updated contact information for Customer Service at the appropriate time.
