Recently, we transitioned all of the new business processing for our long-term care insurance products in-house to help provide a more seamless process for both clients and our distribution partners.
Effective November 17, 2025, Mutual of Omaha will begin migrating in-force LTC13 and LTC09M-CA long-term care policies from our current servicing center, illumifin, to Mutual of Omaha.
This transition reinforces our commitment to providing consistent service for both our policyholders and distribution partners. Bringing these policies in-house will allow us to deliver a more seamless experience.
Policyholders will receive a letter directly notifying them of this change, including updated Customer Service contact information and premium payment instructions.
What You Need to Know:
- Policies will be migrated beginning the evening of November 14 and will continue in phases until all policies have been migrated — targeted completion is early 2026.
- Customer Access will be undergoing maintenance during the weekend of November 14th and will be unavailable during this time.
- A final email will be shared when the migration is complete.
