The State of Idaho Department of Insurance (ID DOI) recently requested modifications to the Supplemental Benefits (HSB) Choice Hospital Indemnity Supplemental Health insurance product. This request requires us to pause all sales and marketing activities for this product in ID, effective as of January 22, 2026.

What you need to know

Choice Hospital Indemnity sales and marketing activities are paused while we make the requested ID DOI modifications. This means that:

• Applications for this product received on or after January 22 will be declined and returned.
• This product will not be available in Express App during this time.

Please note:

• Active Choice Hospital Indemnity member policies are unaffected.
• Choice Accident, Flexible Choice Dental, Vision, & Hearing Plus, and Individual Whole Life Supplemental Health insurance products remain available for sale in ID, as does Medicare Supplement insurance.

We are working with the State of ID to resolve their request quickly. You will be notified when sales and marketing activity may resume for this product.
