3 tips to help advisors sell long-term care
insurance to younger prospects

In this piece, Roers shares three tips that Thrivent encourages financial advisors to take when helping their younger clients or prospects incorporate extended care planning into their financial strategy. They are:
- Introduce and reinforce the importance of a written strategy for extended care.
- Show them the risks of longevity.
- Explain how clients buy insurance with their age and health.
Living a long life can create a “health gap” if a client doesn’t consider and address how extended care costs could impact their retirement income.
